Jeff Baker


  • Joined Evolve Capital in November 2005.
  • Before coming to Evolve, he worked as an attorney for what is now Locke Lord as well as DLA Piper.
  • Represented various private equity funds in acquisitions and investments through leveraged recapitalizations and management buyouts.
  • Experienced in public and private stock acquisitions and debt and equity financings, asset sales and corporate mergers; venture capital transactions; business organization formations; and federal and state securities law compliance.
  • BA in Government and JD, both from the University of Texas at Austin.

Matt Becker


  • Joined Evolve in April 2016.
  • Before coming to Evolve, Matt worked with Volex plc, public traded company, as CEO of Data Division and a member of executive team.
  • Prior to Volex, orchestrated turnaround as CEO of KVT Koenig, LLC, a private equity owned small business.
  • Experienced leadership in global / multi-site P&Ls, change management, operational efficiency, value creation, growth and integration of acquisitions in a variety of market sectors.
  • Previously worked at Siemens VDO / Continental for 13 years in a variety of roles in Engineering, Operations, Program Management and Sales.
  • Bachelors degree in Physics at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduate of Siemens AG Executive Business Leadership program.

Ben Mackay


    • Joined Evolve in June 2008.
    • Prior to the LBO world, Ben worked as a collateral asset examiner for Wells Fargo Business Credit focusing on loans of $25 million and smaller.
    • Prior to Wells Fargo, Mr. Mackay founded and served as the COO of the Rosebud Group, a real estate investment fund focused on mixed-use commercial properties in emerging western recreational towns.
    • MBA from Babson in Wellesley, Mass and BA from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

Heidi Noppinger


  • Joined Evolve Capital in February 2006.
  • Prior to joining Evolve, served as general accounting and administration at Transition Capital Partners, Ltd.
  • Worked at Renshaw Davis & Ferguson in accounting, administration, legal research and human resource roles prior to TCP.
  • Attended Texas A&M University – Commerce.

Ryan Shultz


  • Joined Evolve in October 2006.
  • Worked approximately five years with Glass & Associates prior to Evolve.
  • Duties included advising the boards of directors and other stakeholders of middle market companies on divestiture opportunities, equity and debt issuance, short-term and long-term cash flow management, operations initiatives, valuation analysis, and business model and plan development.
  • Worked as interim CFO during tenure at Glass & Associates.
    Previously worked at Ernst & Young’s Mergers and Acquisition practice and with Ernst & Young’s audit group.
  • BBA and Master of Professional Accounting degrees from the McCombs School of Business at University of Texas at Austin.

David Becker

  • Served as Chief Financial Officer for three U.S. publicly traded companies and one Canadian company.
  • Led Adams Respiratory Therapeutics through its initial public offering, resulting in the most successful healthcare IPO for 2005 according to the Wall Street Journal.
  • Industry expertise includes pharmaceuticals, consumer products, manufacturing, and distribution companies.
  • Over the course of his career, served as Chief Financial Officer for several privately held companies on a full-time and interim basis.
  • Previously served in various capacities at Ernst & Young, LLP, including both audit and mergers & acquisitions practices.
  • A certified public accountant and certified treasury professional.


Brent Anderson

  • Joined Evolve in April 2019
    • Worked at SSAB for 12 years.  Led Internal Audit for the division for 4 years.  Previously, responsible the IT service desk, infrastructure support, IT security, and IT risk management services in the division.
    • Worked on several special projects related to IT integration, IT divestiture, data center migration, and IT managed services.
    • Worked at KPMG for 7 years in the Information Risk Management practice.  Led several engagements related to Sarbanes-Oxley, IT risk management, and business process improvement.  Also performed several IT due diligence assessments for the M&A practice.
    • BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin.
